Handmade in Mexico, the rich color of the Colima Vessel is produced by adding mineral slips to the clay. Instead of glazing, the clay is burnished with a river or quartz stone to seal the pigment before firing. This technique, handed down from Mesoamerican times, results in pieces with a bright terracotta hue and a traditional yet timeless look.
Available in two sizes, the Colima Clay Vessels are ideal for serving salsas and snacks at happy hour, or holding keys or decorative materials
